Rove Makes DeLay Look like a Piker.

October 26, 2010

Jury selection is scheduled to begin Tuesday in the trial of former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, who is charged with illegally funneling corporate money to help elect GOP candidates to the Texas legislature.

The Republican was indicted in 2005 on charges he illegally sent $190,000 in corporate money through the Republican National Committee to help elect GOP Texas legislative candidates in 2002

The Rove trial comes next – and the Cheney, Adington, Yoo, Bush war crimes trial.

  1. Only trouble is – corporate money is legal now.

And if the war crimes trials ever happen, they will happen at The Hague and not in the US.

  2. Not legal if it is foreign money…and some is.

The Hague would be fine – they would have good company there. Serbian war criminals and such. there are good reason those folks don’t travel abroad anymore. A Spanish judge would jail them. Spain used to be a fascist state – interesting how things change.
